Meet the Riders
“Every journey begins with one step. Every story begins with two hearts.”

Meet Datuk Qobin & Amar Baharin
Behind every great journey are the souls who dare to dream beyond limits. This is their story — not just as riders, but as believers, as friends, as brothers on the road to Mecca.”
Meet Datuk Qobin & Amar Baharin — two men from two different worlds, united by a single purpose: to pedal their way to the Holy Land, searching not only for a destination… but for meaning, for peace, and for Allah.
Why Their Story Matters
This isn’t just a story of two men on bicycles.
This is a story of courage. Of surrender. Of letting go of comfort zones, ego, and worldly attachments.
This is a story of brotherhood — proof that faith binds us stronger than blood or background.
This is a story of returning home — not just to Mecca… but to Allah.

This journey is his personal hijrah — a journey of slowing down, disconnecting from the noise of the world, and reconnecting with his true purpose as a servant of God.
For Amar, every kilometre cycled is a step away from distraction — and a step closer to inner peace.

Datuk Qobin
Datuk Qobin
The Explorer Who Surrenders His Heart
Known to many as Malaysia's Grand Slam Explorer, Datuk Qobin is no stranger to extreme adventures.
He has conquered the North Pole, the South Pole by skiing on 2017/2018, and Mount Everest in 2004, as well as all seven of the highest peaks across the seven continents between 2010 and 2014.
In 2007-2008, he further cemented his legacy by cycling and motobiking across 21 countries, from Los Angeles back to Malaysia
But for him, this journey to Mecca is unlike any other.
“This is not about records or achievements. This is about returning to the most basic role of being human — a servant of Allah.”
Through this ride, Datuk Qobin isn’t chasing history. He’s chasing humility. He’s trading the world’s highest peaks for the deepest reflection within himself.
A husband, a father, a leader — but above all, a humble servant seeking peace in the most sacred place on earth.

We are all riders in this life. Some journeys are long. Some are hard. But every journey is beautiful when the destination is Allah.
This is their story. And through this journey… may it also become yours.
